
Liliana Zepeda
Liliana is currently the Ecological Coordinator for the program in Yuma. She joined FPC in September 2011, a couple of months after graduating from college. She obtained her B.S. in Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University. As an undergraduate, she obtained an internship at the University of Florida Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department. During her stay there, she worked on a project to quantify water and energy components to contribute towards the management of water resources in urban land. Following that, she worked with Northern Arizona University’s Lab of Landscape Ecology and Conservation Biology on a research project about non-native plant invasions, fire risk, and wildlife habitat in the Sonoran Desert. Additionally she worked as a microbiology technician, an agricultural research technician, and as an agricultural inspector.
