ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS

FPC has put on various riparian restoration workshops over the last ten years.  We gather up some of the most knowledgeable folks in the restoration profession and put together a practical "hands on" workshop that focuses on sharing the latest information on the planning, design, construction, maintenance and monitoring of riparian restoration in the southwest. Day one includes lectures on these different topics. Day two includes visiting actual restoration sites that have been completed. The last day includes actually constructing all of the methods taught in the classroom. Our goal is to have participants leave the workshop with the practical knowledge needed to plan, build and maintain their own riparian restoration projects. We have taught workshops in Marfa, Texas the Navajo, Paiute and CRIT Indian Reservations and in Yuma, Arizona. We have posted all of the most recent lectures from our 2010 workshop in Yuma Arizona to the left. Come join us for our annual workshop in Yuma, Arizona February 2011 or in Presidio, Texas in October 2010. Workshop updates will be posted as they become available.
